The trail winds through a mesmerizing mosaic of flora and fauna, leading to Mandara Hut. Here, the accommodation blends harmoniously with nature, providing a comfortable resting place amid the enchanting surroundings.

Distance: 12 km | Time: 6-8 hours | Elevation Gain: 1,000 meters Leaving the rainforest behind, the route opens up to expansive moorlands. Marvel at the panoramic vistas of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. The trail to Horombo Hut is a steady ascent, offering acclimatization and panoramic views of the Tanzanian plains below.
