Package itinerary
The journey commences as you depart from Moshi/Arusha towards the Londorossi Gate. Trekking begins through the lush rainforest, encountering diverse flora and fauna. The day concludes at Mti Mkubwa, where the enormous trees provide a serene camping spot. Distance: Approximately 5-7 km Hours of Trekking: 3-4 hours Temperature: Ranges from 20°C to 25°C Landscape: Rainforest, verdant surroundings

Leaving the rainforest behind, ascend to the Shira Plateau. The panoramic views unveil the grandeur of Kilimanjaro. Camp at Shira 2 amidst the expansive moorland. Distance: Around 8-10 km Trekking Duration: 4-6 hours Temperature: 15°C to 20°C Landscape: Moorland, vast and open terrain

Ascend to the Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp through the stunning Senecio Forest. The Barranco Valley offers stunning views and a challenging yet rewarding trek. Trekking Time: 6-8 hours Distance: Approximately 10-12 km Temperature: 10°C to 15°C Landscape: Alpine desert, rocky paths

The day begins with the famed Barranco Wall climb. Traverse through diverse landscapes, reaching Karanga Camp nestled in a valley below the southern glacier of Kibo. Distance: About 5 km Hours of Trekking: 4-5 hours Temperature: 5°C to 10°C Landscape: Alpine desert, steep sections

Accommodations: Barafu Campsite
Start the summit push during the early hours, aiming for Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Descend back to Barafu before moving further to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
