Landscape: Tropical rainforest, winding paths Description: Begin your trek from Londorossi Gate, entering the lush rainforest characterized by diverse flora and fauna. Hike through the verdant forest to Mti Mkubwa camp, surrounded by towering trees and abundant wildlife. Distance: Approx. 7 km; Duration: 4-5 hours; Temperature: Varies (ranging from 20°C to 30°C)

Landscape: Moorland, rocky terrain Description: Ascend through the heath and moorland zone, enjoying panoramic vistas of the Shira Plateau as you make your way to Shira 2 Camp. The terrain transitions to a more barren landscape, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Distance: Approx. 16 km; Duration: 7-8 hours; Temperature: Cooling as altitude increases (10°C to 20°C)

The terrain becomes steeper, and the air thinner as you prepare for the summit attempt.
