Embarking on the Rongai Route, day one takes you from Moshi to the Rongai Gate. The trek commences through lush rainforests, gradually revealing the stunning Rongai Ridge. As you reach Simba Camp, the landscape transforms, providing the first glimpses of Kilimanjaro's grandeur. Expect a distance of approximately 8 km, a duration of 4-5 hours, and temperatures ranging from 10 to 25°C.
