The journey begins as you travel from Moshi towards the Londorossi gate. This initial stretch offers a scenic drive through local villages before reaching the gate, marking the start of your trek. The trail leads to the serene Big Tree Camp, set amid verdant landscapes, covering approximately 8-10 kilometers. Expect temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C during the day, with cooler nights.

Traverse through enchanting forests from Mti Mkubwa to the Shira 1 camp, covering a distance of about 10-12 kilometers.
