Package itinerary
The journey begins with a drive to the Londorossi gate where you will complete registration procedures. The trail then winds through dense rainforests, offering glimpses of wildlife, before reaching Mti Mkubwa. Distance: Approximately 5-6 km. Duration: 4-6 hours. Temperature: 20-25°C. Landscape: Dense rainforest with diverse flora.

Ascending further, the trail opens to moorlands with sprawling vistas. Trekking through heath and moorland, you will reach the Shira 1 Campsite. Distance: Around 8 km. Duration: 5-7 hours. Temperature: 15-20°C. Landscape: Moorlands with scenic views.

Trekking across the Shira Plateau, the landscape transitions into rocky terrain leading to the Moir Hut. The day’s trek showcases high altitude vegetation and unique rock formations. Distance: Approximately 14 km. Duration: 7-9 hours. Temperature: 10-15°C. Landscape: Rocky trails and alpine desert
