Package itinerary
Departing from Moshi, we head to the Londorossi Gate, the starting point of our Northern Circuit Route. The day's trek takes us through lush rainforests, unveiling a rich array of flora and fauna. The Big Tree Camp, nestled in the heart of the forest, marks our first campsite. Distance: 8 km, Time: 5-6 hours, Temperature: 20°C, Landscape: Dense Rainforest

Accommodations: Big Tree (Mti Mkubwa) Campsite
Emerging from the rainforest, we ascend to the Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) campsite and continue towards the Shira Plateau. Witness the changing landscape as we gain elevation, surrounded by alpine vegetation and breathtaking vistas. Distance: 10 km, Time: 7-8 hours, Temperature: 15°C, Landscape: Alpine Meadows

The trail unfolds onto the Shira Plateau, revealing expansive views of the surrounding peaks. Our journey continues to Shira 2 Camp, where the rugged beauty of Kilimanjaro becomes more apparent against the backdrop of the African sky. Today, we tackle the challenging Lava Tower, a volcanic formation that tests our endurance. Descending to Moir Hut, we find ourselves amidst surreal landscapes, preparing for the ascent ahead. Distance: 14 km, Time: 7-9 hours, Temperature: 10°C, Landscape: Rocky Terrain

Journeying through the high alpine desert, we reach Buffalo Camp. The day offers a mix of steep ascents and descents, providing a unique perspective of Kilimanjaro's varied topography. Distance: 10 km, Time: 6-7 hours, Temperature: 8°C, Landscape: Highland Desert
