The journey commences with a transfer to Londorossi Gate, where the Northern Circuit Route begins. As you trek through the ancient rainforest, the Big Tree Camp welcomes you with its serene ambiance. Covering approximately 10 kilometers, this day introduces you to the verdant beauty surrounding Kilimanjaro.

Accommodations: Big Tree (Mti Mkubwa) Campsite
Moving onward, you ascend to Shira 1 Camp through Mti Mkubwa, a towering giant. The landscape transforms into moorlands, offering expansive views. A distance of around 8 kilometers is covered, with temperatures gradually decreasing as you gain altitude.

Today's trek takes you past the iconic Lava Tower, a volcanic formation, on your way to Moir Hut. Covering around 11 kilometers, the landscape becomes more rugged, and the temperature continues to drop, preparing you for the challenges ahead.
